Important Business Debit Card Reminder: Activate your new Mastercard business debit card right away. Your existing card will be canceled November 15, 2024. Your replacement card was mailed in a plain, white envelope and should have arrived by now.

If you haven't received it, please call us at 1-870-535-7222 so we can arrange a replacement or stop by one of our locations listed below where you can have your debit card printed instantly.

We are thrilled to announce that the newly designed Relyance Bank Mastercard debit cards should be delivered to you before the end of 2024. Our enhanced Mastercard debit cards feature the latest contactless chip technology, a fresh new design, and come packed with enhanced features. As soon as you receive your card, activate, don't wait!

Important Actions to Take Now:

Confirm we have your correct mailing address and contact information on file.

You can verify your information and submit updates directly from your online banking. Simply log in, then click Self Service > Service Requests > Change of Address Request. You can verify the information we have is accurate and then submit a service request if necessary.

Please keep an eye on your mailbox for your new card. Follow the enclosed instructions to activate your contactless card.


When your new card arrives...

 

  1. Activate your new card.
    To avoid any delays with your debit card, make sure to activate your new card as soon as it arrives in the mail. To activate your card and set your PIN, call 1 (855) 485-7039. Your existing debit card will be deactivated 60 days after we mail your new replacement card.  
  2. Update your payment or billing information.
    Contact any merchants who automatically bill your existing debit card to update your billing information with your new card number and expiration date.  
  3. Add your card to your digital wallets.
    For convenience when paying, make sure to add your card to Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay.  
  4. Enroll your new debit card in Card Controls from the Relyance Bank Mobile App.
    Card Controls offers advanced protection to always keep your card safe. Card Controls allows you to instantly lock and unlock your cards and control transactions by amount, location, merchant, and transaction type. You can also set up alerts to stay informed about how your card is used, with push notifications straight to your mobile device.  

Once your new card is activated, destroy your old card.
If you have not received your debit card or do not have a debit card by the end of 2024, please stop by your local Relyance Bank branch or call our customer service team at 1 (855) 365-RELY.

Why is my existing card being replaced?
We have partnered with Mastercard to offer you the latest in payment technology and features. Your new debit card comes with enhanced security, broader acceptance, and access to exclusive Mastercard benefits—all at no additional cost to you.

Mastercard is now accepted at over 14 million locations across the U.S., including restaurants, hotels, and membership-only clubs like Costco. You can also use your new debit card to easily set up automatic payments for your monthly bills and subscriptions. Your new card also features the latest contactless technology allowing you to breeze through checkout – Just Tap & Go.™ 
 
Enhanced Protection Everywhere You Shop 
Whether you are shopping online, over the phone, or in-store, every purchase is covered by Mastercard’s Zero Liability2 policy, which protects you from unauthorized transactions. Plus, your new card works seamlessly with Card Controls to control and protect your card directly from the Relyance Bank mobile app. 
 
Peace of Mind with ID Theft Protection at No Extra Cost 
Your Relyance Bank debit card now includes Mastercard Identity Theft Protection™. This service: 
 • Monitors your credit file for any changes that could signal fraud 
 • Alerts you if any suspicious activity is detected 
 • Provides white-glove ID Theft Resolution service 
 
To get started, simply enroll your new Relyance Bank Debit Mastercard here.
Is there any additional cost to me?
No! Your new Debit Mastercard will have no annual fee, just like the card it replaces. Please reference your account agreement for fees and charges that may be assessed against your account.
What actions do I need to take now?

To ensure your new debit card is delivered on time, please ensure we have your correct contact information and mailing address on file.  

You can verify your information and submit updates directly from your online banking. Simply log in, then click Self Service > Service Requests > Change of Address Request. You can verify the information we have is accurate and then submit a change request if necessary.

Watch your mail for important communications about your new debit card.

Where will my new card be mailed?

Your new card will be sent to the primary address on file for your current Relyance Bank debit card. If you recently moved, or would like to update your address, please contact us as soon as possible to update your contact details.  

If you plan to be away from home for an extended time, please contact us immediately to establish a temporary mailing address where you can receive your debit card communications and your new debit card.  

When will my new card arrive?

We are committed to ensuring a smooth process for replacing all cards. Replacement debit cards are being issued and mailed in phases over the next several months. If you have more than one existing debit card, it is possible that you will receive replacement cards at different times.  

We will keep you well informed and will let you know when to expect your new cards to arrive. If you have not received your new replacement debit card by December 2024, please contact us immediately to order a new debit card.

When your new card arrives, simply:

  • Call 1 (855) 485-7039 to activate your new card and set your PIN or visit any Relyance Bank branch to activate your card and set your PIN in person.
  • Add your new card to your Digital Wallet (Apple Pay, Android Pay, Samsung Pay).
  • Contact any merchants who automatically bill your existing card to provide your new card information.
  • Once you have confirmed your new card is working, destroy your old card.

Are contactless cards safe to use?

Yes! Contactless cards are currently among the safest forms of payment. Contactless payments are simple, fast, secure and touch-free ways to pay in person using your new Relyance Bank Debit Mastercard. Your card or device never leaves your hand, reducing the risk of loss or counterfeit, and each purchase is uniquely encrypted. You are also protected against double billing, even if you accidentally tap twice.

What if a merchant does not accept contactless cards?
Your new debit card can still be swiped or inserted just like before. More than 90% of transactions today occur at contactless-enabled locations. For speed, security, and convenience of tapping to pay, look for the contactless symbol and use contactless payment when available. 
Where can I use my new contactless card to check out?
Use your new contactless debit card anywhere you see the contactless symbol. Contactless payment is available at many of your favorite grocery stores, retail stores, restaurants and gas stations. It is easy, convenient, secure and touch-free! 
Will the new contactless cards work at Relyance Bank ATMs?

Yes, we recently upgraded all Relyance Bank ATMs with the latest contactless card features. To initiate an ATM transaction at a Relyance Bank ATM, simply hover your new contactless debit card near the contactless symbol on the ATM.  

When using other ATMs, you may still need to use your card with the chip reader.

Can I use my Mastercard at merchants that do not accept Mastercard credit cards (Costco)?
Yes, you can use your new Debit Mastercard at Costco and anywhere else that accepts debit cards by entering your PIN to complete the transaction. Certain merchants may require you to enter your PIN to complete a debit card transaction.     
What is Mastercard Identity Check™ and how does it help protect my account?

We’ve partnered with Mastercard to implement advanced online purchase authentication known as Mastercard Identity Check™. This advanced fraud fighting technology helps keep your account and debit card secure from fraudulent online transactions.  

When making an online purchase from a merchant that participates in the Mastercard Identity Check™ program, you may be asked to confirm your identity by entering a One-Time Passcode. This One-Time Passcode will be sent to your contact information we have on file. Once received, you will enter this code in the checkout screen and continue your transaction as normal.

Will my debit card daily limits change?

No, your debit card daily limits will remain the same.

If you plan on making a purchase or withdrawal that exceeds your daily card limit, please contact Relyance Bank customer services at 1 (855) 365-RELY to request a temporary limit increase.

Can I still use Card Controls to manage my personal debit card?

Yes! All the same instant Card Controls you use now will be available for your new debit card. Your new debit card will first need to be enabled for Card Controls inside the Relyance Bank mobile app. Simply confirm your new card details from the mobile app, then enable the controls and notifications you would like for your new card.  

If you utilize the SecurLOCK Equip standalone mobile app to control a business card or a minor’s debit card, you will need to enable the new debit card in the SecurLOCK Equip mobile app. Click here for additional information on setting up your debit card with the SecurLOCK Equip mobile app. 

Can my PIN remain the same?
Yes. Your new card must be activated and a PIN set when you receive it. When activating your card and setting your PIN, you may select the same numbers you are currently using.  
What if I don't know by debit card PIN?
You can easily set or change your PIN by calling 1 (855) 485-7039.
Will my new card number remain the same?
No. Your new card will have a new card number and expiration date. Please contact any merchants who automatically bill your existing card to update your stored card details. 
If I have multiple debit cards, will each card be replaced?

Yes. Each existing debit card will be reissued a new Debit Mastercard. The new replacement cards will be mailed in phases based on your card’s expiration date. You may receive a new card at a different time than someone in your household.  

If you have both business and personal debit cards, these replacement cards may be issued at separate times.  

If I receive more than one card, how will I be able to tell which checking account each is linked to? 

Simply call us at 1(855) 365-RELY. We will be happy to help you identify which account is tied to which new card.

If I do not receive my new card in the mail, where can I go to get an Instant Issue Card?

If you do not receive your new debit card in the mail before your Visa Debit Card will be deactivated, you can visit any of these Relyance Bank branches to get an Instant Issue Mastercard Debit Card:

What if the card is lost or stolen?

Report a lost or stolen card to us immediately by calling Relyance Bank customer services at 1 (855) 365-RELY. You can also use Relyance Bank Card Controls in the mobile app to disable your card right away.
