Pine Bluff, AR (October 8, 2020) – Chuck Morgan, Chairman and CEO of Relyance Bank, N.A., is pleased to welcome Marlin R. Evans as Vice President and Trust Officer to our Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village markets.

Mr. Evans earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ouachita Baptist University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.  He started his military service with the United States Army in 2001.  Mr. Evans currently serves with the United States Army Reserve as the Chief Military Intelligence Officer of the 350th CACOM in Pensacola, Florida. 

He began investment advising and estate planning in 2003 and continues to serve high net worth clients in financial services and planning.  He brings years of experience as a Wealth Advisor and a Trust Officer.  In addition to his professional and military responsibilities, Mr. Evans is a member of the Club 99 Little Rock Rotary Club, volunteers as a youth football coach with the YMCA of Hot Springs and is past director of the Saline County Relay for Life. 

Katherine Polczynski was recently promoted to Senior Vice President and Consumer Real Estate Manager. She joined Relyance Bank in 2015 as Vice President of Mortgage Lending. Throughout her 24-year banking career, she has attended multiple lending schools and professional training courses. Mrs. Polczynski was named Ambassador of the Year with the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and recognized twice by the Sentinel-Record Reader’s Choice Awards, voted 3rd place Best Banker in 2017 and 1st place Best Banker in 2019.

Katherine is a Leadership Hot Springs Class XXXI graduate, current Ambassador with the Greater Hot Springs Chamber of Commerce, volunteer with Cooper-Anthony Mercy Child Advocacy Center, Affiliate of the Hot Springs Board of Realtors Office and currently serves on the Hot Springs Board of Realtors Image Committee.

Melissa Kleusner was recently promoted to Consumer Real Estate Production Officer. She joined Relyance Bank in 2015 as a Loan Administrative Assistant. She carries twenty-three years of mortgage loan processing experience and attended Real Estate School at National Park Community College. Mrs. Kleusner is an affiliate with the Hot Springs Board of Realtors and volunteers with the Habitat for Humanity and United Way of the Ouachitas.
