Mr. Scott Socia was recently promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending. He joined Relyance Bank in 2005 after receiving a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Arkansas State University. He is a graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking Class 59. He currently serves on the Jefferson County Habitat for Humanity board and a member of Fifty for the Future and the Downtown Pine Bluff Rotary Club. Mr. Socia is a Leadership Pine Bluff graduate and a past volunteer with the United Way of Southeast Arkansas.

Mrs. Paula Coffield Styers was recently promoted to Senior Vice President, Commercial Lending. She joined Relyance Bank in 2016 as Vice President, Commercial and Mortgage Lending. She carries 30 years of banking experience. She holds many certificates in Management and Leadership. She graduated from Commercial Lending School and Business Management from UALR. She prides herself in building lasting relationships with her clients and is passionate about exceeding their expectations in service. She believes in giving back to her community and volunteers for Junior Achievement, the Ronald McDonald House and served on the Chocolate Fantasy Ball Committee for 2020. She is a LGLR class of XXXIII graduate.

Mrs. Katherine Mitchell was recently promoted to Vice President, BSA and Deposit Compliance Officer. She joined Relyance Bank in 2018 during the Heartland conversion. She carries 21 years of financial services experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Arkansas University. Mrs. Mitchell recently earned the designation of a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. She currently serves as the Treasurer for the Hebron Cemetery Association and a Sunday school teacher at Hebron Church.

Jennifer Ruhlman was recently promoted to Senior Vice President and Senior Retail Officer, leading corporate retail.  Mrs. Ruhlman joined Relyance Bank in January of this year as our Senior Vice President of Retail Banking in our Little Rock market.  She has twenty years of customer service and management experience in the banking industry.  She earned a bachelor’s degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2001.   

She currently serves on the Junior Achievement of Arkansas Board as a Central Arkansas board member, where she previously served as the Central AR Board Chairman for two years, and volunteers with the Career Link Job Skills program at The Church at Rock Creek.  She was recognized as an AR Business 40 Under 40 honoree in 2018.  She is a graduate of the Benton and Bryant Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Saline County program and she served as president of the AR Bankers Association Emerging Leaders Council.  

Ms. Lauren Sanders was recently promoted to Electronic Banking Retail Officer.  She earned a bachelor’s degree in Journalism / Advertising / Public Relations with a minor in Marketing / Logistics from the University of AR at Fayetteville in 2016.  She earned her master’s degree in Applied Communication Studies from the UALR while she also worked as a graduate assistant to the Assistant Director of the UALR Communication Skill Center.   

Prior to Ms. Sanders joining Relyance Bank’s electronic banking department in the fall of 2019, she gained experience as the Marketing Coordinator for The Poultry Federation.  For the past three years, Ms. Sanders served and continues to serve as the Public Relations Chair for the Jefferson County Circle of Friends.
