Watson Chapel School District, in a landmark collaboration with Relyance Bank and Junior Achievement of Arkansas, is proud to announce a new community partnership aimed at providing comprehensive educational programs to students from kindergarten through young adulthood. This initiative will reach approximately 6,000 students, enriching them with vital knowledge in financial literacy, workforce readiness, and entrepreneurship.

Under this initiative, Relyance Bank will leverage its resources to provide dedicated volunteers who will bring real-world experience into the classrooms. These volunteers are committed to helping students develop the critical skills necessary for personal and professional success in the modern economy.

“Education is the cornerstone of community development, and we are thrilled to partner with Relyance Bank and Junior Achievement to bring these essential programs to our students,” said Dr. Keith McGee, Superintendent of Watson Chapel School District. “Through this partnership, we are ensuring that our students not only learn about economics and business but also acquire the skills they need to succeed in the workforce and beyond.”

The partnership will include a series of interactive, grade-appropriate sessions conducted by Relyance Bank volunteers, tailored to inspire and prepare the next generation of business leaders and entrepreneurs. Topics will range from basic financial concepts for the youngest learners to advanced entrepreneurial and economic principles for high school students.  During the spring semester of 2025, Relyance Bank volunteered at Coleman Elementary teaching financial literacy to all of the third grade classes for a 6 week period.
